Google Ads
The Organization advertises through Google Ad Grants, the advertising allowance Google provides to non-profit organizations. Google Ads cookies are used to count how many visitors who arrived from an advertisement went on to submit an inquiry or request materials. What is counted is the correspondence between an advertisement and an action, not the content you enter into a form.
Local Storage Usage
Your cookie consent preference is stored in your browser's local storage. This information is never transmitted to external servers.
After consent, we use session storage in the same tab to connect the initial acquisition source, articles, and support pages. The stored information consists of source categories, campaign labels, and page paths. The connection expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not store complete URL query strings, advertising click identifier values, names, email addresses, or form contents in this storage. If you submit a consultation, this route information is also included in the private intake record. Without consent, route information is not stored, and you can still submit a consultation normally.
How to Change Your Preferences
You can delete the 'cookie-consent' key from your browser's local storage to see the consent banner again on your next visit. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. If you choose "Decline" on the banner, neither GA4 nor Google Ads cookies are written.
